There are times one experience stains on the paper, while using printers for printing of documents or text in general, and a lot of people takes it to printers technicians for repair, which may cost few bucks for the technician to solve the issue or problem, but after reading this article to the end, you will be able to tackle problems relating to stains on the papers while printing.
WHAT ARE STAINS ON THE PAPER
Stains on the paper is refer to the dumping of the tonners or ink on the paper, during the printing action by the printer, which makes the printout of the text not to be clear, and it is often refers to as printing error, with such a printout one works can be rejected or condemn , most especially those who owns printing press or shops.
This kind of error makes customers not to be satisfied with the service rendered by the shop or press owner, but one cannot correct such a mistake when he or she does not know what cause the problem.
CAUSES OF STAINS ON THE PAPER
To be able to know the causes of the stains on the paper, one has to understand the mechanism or working principle of the cartridges, because that is where the tonners or ink are being held.
The cartridge is made up of five main part which are
Magnetic rod
Doctor or wiper blades
Drum
Waste bin
Pressure roller
During the working of the printer, the gears or spockets are being rotated by the electric motor, and when the cartridge is installed into the printer, the magnetic rod is set into motion, then the doctor blade control the amount of tonners or ink that comes out of the case and stick to the magnetic rod, after which the front or wiper blades scrape off excess of tonner or ink from the magnetic rod and dump them into the waste bin.
The process repeat again and again until the waste bin is filled up, and if it is not wasted the ink or tonner from the waste bin begin to drop on the paper during printing, this causes the paper to be stain by the ink or tonner.
STEPS ON HOW TO WASTE THE WASTE BIN
There are various ways of losing cartridges of different printers, there are some cartridges that requires you to lose both sides of the screw, and there are some that does not, so after losing the screw you gently remove the drum and wrap it gently in a paper to avoid scratch on the drum, because any scratches on the drum will reflect on the paper.
after that you separate the waste bin from the tonner case, you remove the wiper blades, and empty the waste bin after which you examine if the wiper blade is still in good condition, because there are times the wiper blades become weak and soft and can no longer control the tonners or ink into the waste bin, but if it is in good condition carefully replace it and the drum, then lock with the key and screw back the bolt, then insert it back and run a self test multiple times to be sure it is okay.
